February 6, Sunday

Sunday Morning Fellowship
John is back from H.Q., from the Leader’s Conference.
In manifestations this morning:  “Walk boldly.”  “God is our guide all the time.”  “As we stand in the gap as God’s kids, He will be our confidence.”
Dave B. prayed and thanked the Father for the garrison and peace around our hearts and minds.
John thanked the Father for our health (no one in bed this week) and tuition and weather for this week.  One day at a time.  Simplicity of life.

John teaches “Words and Works:  The Two-fold Challenge of the First Century Church”
Titus 3:3
~The new birth. Romans 10:9. We are body and soul and then instantaneously become body, soul, spirit.
Verses 4-7
~The love of God appeared, not by our works but by His mercy.
Verse 8
~Is what we do with verses 4-7:  good works.
~ Good works:  Ephesians 2:10, II Timothy 3:17
~Knowledge and zeal.  Words and works.

We make known God:
~Galatians 3:1-5  –  In PFAL as we convince people spiritually and logically.  It builds.  We have to do this in this day and time because of so much wrong teaching.  I need to continue to convince myself of the Word by making it my own.  Then exercise what I make my own.
~I Thessalonians 1:5-7  –  The RESULT?  Verse 8, entheo!
~II Thessalonians 2:13-17  –  HOPE through GRACE.  WORDS and WORKS.
~John 2:11  –  Beginning of miracles (simeon = signs).  Eight recorded in John.
